Finally, Sfinx got the point (with the English translation in parallel), that it's available for testing! :)

not that you can find it. each of the files has a polish non-working version of soltys in it. or am i doing it wrong?

Then it'll absolutely work with both of these: http://scummvm.org/games/#sfinx
If not, maybe try to do a clean install of ScummVM. (Uninstall it, then reinstall the one I just linked above.) If you are still unable to run any of the two versions, please join our IRC channel and I am sure we will work it out somehow! :)
